Summary
Beowulf "Wulfie" Mayfield worked as a local newspaper journalist in the Midlands and London for more than 20 years. He had a particular interest in writing about music and musicians. He also worked as a press officer for national charities and an independent record company and collaborated with musician Billy Jenkins to produce videos and The Billy Jenkins Listening Club podcast. He is a self-taught photographer and has a particular interest in experimental techniques such as pinhole photography, coaxing images out of vintage analogue cameras and light-painting. He shares the benefit of his long experience in journalism and enthusiasm for photography, design, video making and podcasting to teach the practical skills required for contemporary journalism. He designed 香港六合论坛's newspaper The Hillingdon Herald.
