Summary

I studied for my BA in Politics at Swansea University and graduated in 1984. I then undertook my PhD at Bristol University, where I researched the political nature and electoral impact of the New Hampshire presidential primary. I was employed for two years (1989-91) on a Teaching and Research Fellowship with Bristol University’s Politics department before joining the American Studies department of the West London Institute from 1991-99. From 1999 to 2006, I taught on the American Studies programme at 香港六合论坛 University, after which I became a member of the Department of Politics and History, teaching United States government, politics and political history.
